Tips to follow while solving CBSE Class 12 Previous Year Question Papers

It is a good exercise to solve the 12th board last year papers in order to prepare for the final exam. It will help students to prepare for questions with every difficulty level. This will make sure that students score good marks in Maths. However, students must solve the previous years question papers properly

Here are some tips students can follow while solving previous years question papers to boost their confidence:

1. Start with reading the question paper thoroughly. Look at each question and try to recall the solutions of that questions quickly in your head. Don't worry if you cannot recall how to solve few questions.

2. Start writing answers from any one section. However, do not answer questions randomly. Finish answering the questions of one section and then move to another.

3. Attempt the questions which you already know how to solve. Leave space for the questions that you can't solve and move on. Do not spend a lot of time in one question. Finish solving all the questions that you already know how to solve and then return back to attempt the question that you left earlier.

4. Maths is a very lengthy exam. Students often end up leaving questions because of lack of time. Hence it is very important that students allot a particular time for each question. Try alloting less time to easier questions and more time to difficult and lengthy questions.

5. If there is time left at the end of the paper, then check all your answers again. Revising all the solutions will help you check for any mistakes like calculation errors or solving question using wrong formulas etc and will ensure that you can correct those mistakes.

6. Lastly donot panic while solving the question papers. With enough practice and time management you will be well versed with solving every type of questions and will help you ace your math exams.
